When coming to the Bay of Islands, people tend to leave fishing until last. This is a common mistake that often results in missing out on the best experience in the Bay. Fishing is very weather dependant so we recommend the following:

Set aside your first full day in the Bay of Islands for fishing. We are very weather dependant so if we have to cancel the trip, we then have a chance to reschedule you.
