weather was absolutely perfect. We headed out to PF and checked it out. Once again we were all alone, all the other boats seem to be heading out to the far extremes and coming back with very little according to the grapevine. Today, we were on the money.

The Snapper were biting continuously all trip and although there were plenty of the usual small fish, every now and then in came a good sized keeper.

Although the adults did well, it was the youngest on board that supplied the majority of the fish today. Joe Grimley caught the biggest Snapper (40cms) just beating his older sister Chloe who had pulled in a 38cm Snapper earlier. Ryan McLennan contributed with the biggest Trevally. Chloe also caught a small John Dory. Most of the adults, out fished in the Snapper department had to resort to catching Kahawai to retain a bit of pride.

All in all, it was a very good result today and well worth the wait.

Sorry to finish on a sour note but I just remembered that we had a no-show today. Kumie booked a spot on board for today but decided that he wasn't going to turn up and couldn't be bothered letting me know. His reward is that he missed a very successful day, is banned from my boat forever and gets his own entry in the Hall of Shame
