Back to the Main Fishing & Weather Report

7th December - Needless to say, we headed back to yesterdays spot. It was tough pulling in all those big fish while trying to disguise what was happening whenever a boat passed but we managed. We had some locals on board and the rest were novices. The schoolies came in waves and we were soon throwing anything back that weighed less than 3kgs. Great fun and even the crew got a feed today.

December 7th - Esther Becher caught this snapper just before succumbing to seasickness
December 7th - Karl Weber hauling in snapper after snapper
December 7th - Karl with one of his many snapper caught today
December 7th - Rod Becher enjoying another fight with our snapper
December 7th - Rod Becher fished the whole day and enjoyed quite a bit of success
December 7th Rod and his son - Thomas - were very keen all day and are seen here comparing catches
December 7th - Shaun - one of our locals - was in hot competition with Karl

The Becher Family admitted to being fishing novices but they soon got the hang of it. When the big fish started arriving, they were well practiced and ready which was just as well as these snapper were feisty and reasonably big.
Our regulars Shaun and Rosie  performed well and both ended up with a good supply of snapper.
Shaun and Karl got into a bit of a competiton and there was a bit of ribbing over who the deck space belonged to as the competition heated up.
