11th December - Our morning trip was cancelled due to a lack of numbers but luckily we had an afternoon Sole Charter to make the most of this weather....
20th December - We were pretty certain that the school fish were only in the middle of the bay. However the weather had been so bad overnight that the swell had built up to the extent that we didn't believe that we would be able to fish where we wanted to be. We tried to cancel this trip but were unable to contact our group, so we were committed. When they turned up, we headed out and tried the middle but with close on 2 metre swells it became obvious that we were going to have to head for shelter. Once we got out of the wind and swells we had a very pleasant day but the schoolies were conspicuous by their absence.
