17th December 2008 - Mr Doyle with the best snapper of the day

Not a monster but still a good sized snapper that would have fed 2-3 people today

14th December - With seven people on board we headed out with high expectations....


3rd December - A Beautiful day, calm as calm.....

4th December - This was the first of two trips with Kerikeri High School......

5th December - This was the second of two trips with Kerikeri High School.....


6th December - The day started out with perfect weather.....

7th December - Needless to say, we headed back to yesterdays spot....

8th December - We headed out today with the hope that .......

10th December
- The swell had dropped.......

11th December - Our morning trip was cancelled due to a lack of numbers but luckily we had an afternoon Sole Charter to make the most of this weather....

12th December - This was our last school trip.....

18th December - With the previous days fishing in mind we set out

13th December - It was a quiet day fish-wise until....

17th December - The weather was good and we were confident of a good day with huge fish but the fickle fate of the fishing world seems to be in a mischievous mood this year.  The best fish of the day was a good size and it would have been tasty but the monsters we were getting used to were not in evidence. However the quantity of good sized fish that were caught encouraged a couple of people to rebook for the next day.
