It was a humorous day with a bunch of people who obviously get on very well at work. The quality of the fishing improved a hundred fold at the end of the day

13th December - It was a quiet day fish-wise until the afternoon breeze arrived. We were back on our special spot but nothing was happening. The fish were there but not biting. At last we decided to pull anchor and try a bit of drift fishing. The timing was good as the moment the anchor was on board a massive workup of gannets started about a kilometer away. We got in amongst them, dropped our lines and waited. Shortly afterwards the afternoon breeze arrived and it was all on. We had quite a few good fish coming on board in a very short time. Good exciting finish to the day.
