8th January -
The day was so pleasant that we, once again drifted for much of the day...

9th January - The main aim of this trip was an island visit and a bit of fishing.....

10th January - There was a huge swell so we were restricted to fishing amongst the islands today. The fishing here is much better than out in the bay itself at the moment so it wasn't a big hardship. Overcast but very light winds enabled us to drift fish for most of the day. Twice we dropped anchor but the fish responded better to a drifting boat so 80% of our time was spent drifting. Although our biggest fish was only 36cm, we ended up with a good supply of pannies ranging from 29-36cm so everyone had fish for tea.
